It is currently the start of December, and feeling pretty cold and wintry. Thus I thought it would be nice to go back to earlier this year and visit Jon and Imogen’s late summer wedding. I had lots of fun when I met this bride and groom back in the spring and when we went for their pre-wedding shoot in Trent Park, Cockfosters (sandwiched between the North London boroughs of Enfield and Barnet), and knew their wedding day was going to be much the same – lots of laughter and good times.
This was also a first for me – I’ve never photographed a wedding ceremony at the end of my road – however, with the marriage being held in the lovely St Mary Magdalene’s I was able to walk from home and then scuttle as quickly as my little legs would allow back to pick up my car afterwards to drive to the reception venue of Capel Manor. I was particularly looking forward to this – Enfield is lucky in that it has several lovely large gardens open to the public (Forty Hall and Myddelton House being the other two) and so I had visited Capel Manor several times before and knew not only was it going to be a lovely wedding reception, but that I’d be able to use the grounds to capture some beautiful photographs of this lovely couple and their garden party themed affair.
I hope you enjoy this taste of late summer. In the mean time, if you looking for a wedding photographer, and would like to know more about me, and the service I offer I’d love to hear from you and you can get in touch via the Contact form or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
