This is baby Isabelle at 9 days old. I had the pleasure of shooting maternity portraits of Isabelle’s parents at the end of June and recently went back to visit them and their newborn baby for the second half of their bump to baby photography session. Here are some of the highlights of the couple of hours we spent together.
I especially enjoyed photographing baby Isabelle as it feels like a stage of a very pleasurable journey (of being photographer for her parents engagement, wedding and maternity portraits) has ended and a new one has begun with this newborn shoot. I am looking forward to going back to visit this lovely family and to shooting them again- as her dad said to me when we sat down to view these baby portraits, ‘this is great, it’s like having your own official family portrait photographer‘ – which to me was a great compliment.
